In the restoration of Farrs, a house built in 1730 and not previously sold until we bought it in 2001, we wanted to conserve the essential character and history of the building and its surroundings whilst making it work as a home for the twenty-first century.
This has required the sensitive construction of building joinery. Mandeville Joinery has been involved throughout, especially with the making of oak doors and garden gates which give constant pleasure.
